About Troop 318...

Welcome to Troop 318!

We are a small troop in the Cambrian area of San Jose.  We meet each Monday night and generally have 1 or 2 weekend outdoor activities each month - year round.

Typical activities we do each year are:

	Snow Camping	Water Rafting	Camp Chawanakee
	Skiing	Rock Climbing	Bicycling
	Billiards	Bike Trips	Golf
	Bowling	Beach Camping	Rifle Shooting

Our troop is small enough that you can become acquainted with everyone quickly, and everyone has a chance to have a leadership role.  We're a small, friendly troop, where a high percentage of boys have achieved the Eagle rank.  This year we have had 5 boys earn their Eagle Rank and are expecting another 2 in 2008 as well! 

Boy Scout Troop 318 was formed over thirty years ago.  Our meetings are on Monday nights at Price Middle School (New Jersey Ave at Curtner Ave in San Jose) and in the summer we meet in the Doerr Park at Park Wilshire in San Jose.

This web site is both a recognition of the boys and their achievements as well as an organizing tool for our active scouts and their families.
